(11/09) Als Pioniere des amerikanischen Gothic Genres hat die Band um Frontfrau TINA WINTER mit unerreichten Supersmashern wie "Live With The Dead" oder "Eyes (Second Death)" Anfang der Achtziger unverwüstliche Evergreens der Szene und darüber hinaus geschaffen. Nach Jahren der Stille erfolgte mit "Unholy Burial" ein gelungenes Comeback, doch erst mit dem neuen Werk "Eminence Of Demons" hat sich die Band so richtig wieder gefunden. Sicherlich spielt auch eine Rolle dabei, dass Urmitglied ROB REIMER wieder mit von der Partie ist, der zusammen mit Kult-Gitarrist und Ur-CHRISTIAN DEATH Mitbegründer RIKK AGNEW die heutigen professionellen Standards mit der ungestümen Unbekümmertheit und Credibility der originären Szene verbindet. Dabei hat die Band Musik geschaffen, die das Vorgängeralbum bei all seinen Vorzügen weit hinter sich lassen. "Eminence Of Demons" hat alles, was ein düsteres Szene-Rockalbum ausmacht. Das breite Songspektrum umfasst klassische wie zeitgemässe Rockelemente, atmosphärische Finsternis und sehnsuchtsvolles Verlangen in glasklarer Produktion, die die lange Wartezeit auf dieses Album unmittelbar rechtfertigt.
