(06/09) Nach ihrem erfolgreichen Debüt Monsterproof aus dem Jahr 2006, erscheint das zweite Album Gravity in einer limitierten Doppel-CD Erstauflage bei ECHOZONE.
Gewohnt einfühlsam und atmosphärisch dicht präsentieren sich die Songs auf Gravity, dessen stimmliche Essenz von Sängerin Andrea B. wieder einmal mehr als eindrucksvoll wiedergegeben wird. Nicht zuletzt ihrer melancholisch-erotischen Präsenz ist es zu verdanken, dass auch eine Cover-Version des Shriekback Klassikers This Big Hush ihren Urhebern alle Ehre macht.
Für das passende produktionstechnische Gewand sorgten unter anderem Peter Scherer (Sakamoto, David Byrne), der zwei Songs produzierte, Peter Schmidt (Beatsteaks, Klee), in dessen Studio ein Grossteil des Albums gemischt wurde, sowie Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Interpol, Nick Cave), der bei vier Songs die Abmischung übernahm.
Neben den 11 Songs des regulären Albums befinden sich auf der zweiten CD 13 Remixe, die die musikalische Bandbreite noch einmal deutlich erweitern können:
Künstler der elektronischen Musik aus L.A., Tokio, London, New York, Paris, Genf haben die Songs interpretiert. Dabei werden sowohl experimentierfreudige Hörer sowie Clubgänger gleichermassen fündig.
