Anfang der 80er war es vor allem der Klassiker "You", der Boytronic bekannt machte. "The working Model", das erste von zunächst insgesamt vier Alben der Band in unterschiedlicher Zusammensetzung bzw. mit Nebenprojekten, hatte durchaus noch stärkere Titel. "Diamonds and loving arms" beispielsweise oder "Luna Square". Jetzt gibt es das gesamte Material "remastered", dazu das geniale "Trigger Track" (einst eine B-Seite), mit "Hurts" und "Late nighty satellite" spätere Singles und dazu, nebst aufwendigem Booklet, noch weitere Bonustracks von Holger Wobker und Kollegen. Seit dem Debüt vor 20 Jahren sind bei Deutschlands Vorzeige-Schwulenband zwar einige Freunde ums Leben gekommen, doch "Autotunes", die recht gute Comeback-Scheibe vom letzten Jahr, hat ja gezeigt, dass Boytronic auch in Zukunft noch einiges zuzutrauen ist.
